Robicheaux v. Caldwell is a 2013 federal court case requesting that the Louisiana marriage amendment (Section 15) and statutory marriage ban (LCC 3520) be declared unconstitutional and the state of Louisiana give full faith and credit to all out-of-state marriage certificates.
- Note: The original case was been dismissed, but the plaintiffs refiled as Robicheaux v. George. After the new case was filed, that case was consolidated with this closed case. Later, a third case was consolidated with both of the other two. Additional documents will be added soon to track the history of the case.
